"Floating World" is dedicated to the many happy hours I have spent watching leaves and blossoms fall into a stream and float along with the current.
Painting with clay is my passion and my joy. Called clay monoprinting, it is a unique form of image transfer developed by Mitch Lyons. There is a spontaneity to this most satisfying process, and random surprises as colors and textures from previous layers come through in the print. Abstraction happens organically.
